In spring of 2022, after noticing that my high school band program's website seemed outdated and lacking in organization, I decided to make what would initially be a new concept website for the program to pitch to the band directors.

Using a different website builder, I got to work on not only transferring over nearly all of the information from the old site, but also working on a number of improvements to the site that made it more useful to the program and a better representation of the band programs' online brand. When I pitched this concept website to the directors, they ended up buying the site at www.washingtonband.org because they liked the improvements!

Those improvements include:

• Organization of webpages by relevance

• A new all-inclusive event calendar that could be easily updated and synced

• New webpages for booster initiatives and information dissemination

• Updated information and formatting for nearly every page

• A more aesthetically-pleasing look across the entire site
